<description>Jarrod Harper from Tasmania has tonight won the Australian Super Sedan Title at Archerfield Speedway,&amp;nbsp;Brisbane&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;A classic race that went the full 40 laps after a crash on lap 1, that lost Darren Kane and Mark Pagel. <description>&lt;div&gt;&lt;strong&gt;The grid draws for the Speedway Sedans Australia, SuperCheap Auto, Australian Super Sedan Title have&amp;nbsp;been released, after a function held in Brisbane last night.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Twelve qualifying heats will be held tomorrow night at the SuperCheap Auto, Archerfield Speedway in Brisbane, with South Australian Champion Shane Best having the honour of starting on pole in the opening heat.&lt;br&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;div&gt;Early racing will commence at 4.30pm EST&amp;nbsp;with the first qualifying heat scheduled for 6.00pm EST.&amp;nbsp; &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;The program also includes events for Junior Sedans.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</description>

<description>Now, we look forward to the Supercheap Auto Australian Super Sedan Title, to be held at Archerfield Speedway, Brisbane. &lt;br&gt;It all gets underway on Thursday 3rd May with scrutineering and practice. The serious stuff is then on from Saturday the 5th May with 3 rounds of heats per car before moving onto Sunday night 6th May for 1 last heat per car, then the all important 40 lap Australian Title. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;The event has received a total of 47 entries gunning to be number 1. &lt;div&gt;The field includes drivers from every State, headed by National Champion Steve Jordan. Five drivers will come from Victoria, Tasmania and&amp;nbsp;New South Wales, with three from Western Australia and two from South Australia, to join the 27 from the host State of Queensland.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;div&gt;For the first time since 2007, every State Champion will be within the field, with Jordan joined by Darren Kane and Mick Nicola as the previous winners of the Australian title.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Representing Victoria will be v16 Ash Bergmeier, v32 Wayne Belk, v2 Peter Nicola, v3 Mick Nicola and Mick Nicola Jnr aboard the v44.&lt;br&gt;Can one of the Victorians bring&amp;nbsp;the Aus #1 back home with them and over $6,000 to go with it?&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br&gt;</description>

Following Nicola in 2nd place was Brad Wicks in his Wicks Transport supported Ford Falcon who came from 4th on the grid and who also has extended his lead to 82 points going into the final round of the VSSA Mornington Motors Southern National Series. Wicks aboard his Wicks Transport supported Ford Falcon came from 3rd on the grid to win ahead of the quick car of the night, Brad Smith in his Insane&amp;nbsp;with Mick Nicola Jnr aboard his National Warranty Co Rocket in third. <description>Peter Nicola has taken out Round 9 of the VSSA Mornington Motors Series held at&amp;nbsp;Sonic Speedway,Swan Hill last night with an all the way win on a very black slick surface that was hard on tyres in the 30 lap feature. Drive of the night in the feature was Ash Bergmeier who was pushed off the track early in the feature which sent him back to around 7th place. Bergmeier was clearly the quickest car in the final picking off cars high and low one by one racing his way up to an eventual 2nd place finish after he had shown his nose to get passed leader Nicola in the closing stages.
