SERIES KICKS OFF AT POWER FM REDLINE RACEWAY (A SHAMELESS MEDIA RELEASE)

The Victorian Super Sedan Association series fires into action this weekend 22nd of November at Power FM Redline Raceway Ballarat. After a hectic off season the VSSA committee has three new sponsors for the upcoming 2008/ 09 series. Naming rights sponsor this year has been taken up by Bulldog Earthmoving, with the series this year known as the Bulldog Earthmoving All Star Super Sedan series.

LAPPIN TAKES FIRST WIN FOR THE SEASON

Craig Lappin was victorious last night at Moama's Heartland Raceway after a delayed start to the nights racing due to the previous days rain.

It was also the first nights racing that our major sponsors attended - Peter and Vicki from Bulldog Earthmoving P/L in Ballarat. It was great to put faces to names - same goes for Frank! and we look forward to the start of the Bulldog Earthmoving Super Sedan All Stars series set to take off in two weeks at Ballarat's Redline Raceway.

The opening to the season began at Avalon Raceway. A restriction to the number of cars (10) saw the field filled by the following; Mick & Pete Nicola, Lucas Roberts, George Napier, Ian Page, John Nugent, Dave McKenzie, Craig Lappin, Ash Bergmeier and a new face to Super Sedans, Chris O'Keefe.

NASR DRIVERS CHAMPIONSHIP

The VSSA are very excited to announce that this year our drivers have an opportunity to compete in the NASR Driver’s Championship with a fixed amount of $5000 for the winner. The championship is open to all NASR classes throughout Victoria for the 2008/09 series.

Minimum Safety Standards Facts. - Released by NASR 02.10.08

It has recently come to NASR ’s attention that some different interpretations are being circulated about the application of the new Minimum Safety Standards. NASR has fielded many questions in recent weeks and would therefore like to take the opportunity to answer these for the benefit of all in the industry.

To assist readers, the background of the implementation of the rules will be followed by the application of the rules and then specific questions asked of the NASR National Office.

Bulldog Earthmoving All Stars Sedan Series 2008/09

The Victorian Super Sedan Association is pleased to announce that Ballarat based Bulldog Earthmoving will be the Naming Rights partner for the 2008/09 Victorian Super Sedan Series.

HEAD AND NECK RESTRAINTS

Nasr's policy is that all Head and Neck Restraints must be SFI 38.1 approved.

A device is to be used as of 1st July 2008 for all AA and A licensed categories + Super Sedans but exludes all other sedan categories.
